Black couple gives birth to white baby?

This world of ours has been known to be full of wonders since creation. Some of the wonders have been clearly meant to reinforce our by and large questionable beliefs in the Creator.

We are told in the Holly scriptures about the miracles Jesus Christ and Moses performed. And in the Qur’an we learn about the miracles of Prophet Muhammad (PBH). Of course these were all divinely guided beings and so believing in their performances depends on one’s belief in religion.

Today, however, we depend entirely on Science for explanations to the world’s miracles.

A recent revelation from the United Kingdom seems to have brought the might of science to the edge. If the testimony of the Black father of a newly born white baby is to be trusted, scientists are probably seeing the latest miracle that will probably take generations to unravel.

Ben and Angela Ihegboro who moved to Britain five years ago dazed the world with the delivery of a white baby girl. I mean a Black man and his Black woman wife have a baby that turns out to be a white.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, "Doctors say the white-skinned newborn is not an albino.'' And a rather trusting husband has ruled out any foul play on the part of his beloved wife who called her new born "a miracle baby.''

''My wife is true to me. Even if she hadn't been, the baby wouldn't have looked like that!'' Ben Ihegboro was quoted as saying.

The question now is: what on earth could possibly explain a Black couple delivering a white baby?

If you are thinking about the medical possibility of such a “miracle” that is no-go-area as according to Dr. Friday Aleke of the University of Nigeria in the south eastern state of Enugu, miracles could happen, but in the case of the Nigerian couple, an external factor may have been responsible for the birth of a white baby girl.

''The only way two Nigerian parents can give birth to a white baby... is that the father is not the father...” Africa News quoted him.

In fact, the couple in question had already gotten two children, both being normal offspring. Dr. Aleke said those two children could probably be their real children, “but the one that is white is definitely not.''

"It's possible that the man couldn't produce sperms and they got sperm from a sperm bank and it happens to be a white man's sperm... many things can happen, but there is no way two Nigerians who don't have white in their ancestry can give birth to a white baby," Dr. Aleke said.

It appears that the only option left is for the couple to undertake a paternity test using the DNA.

What about the possibility of gene modification?

Dr. Aleke’s answer: "If you look at the Americans, those that are black Americans, they have been in the US for close to 200 years. How come they don't give birth to white children? So the length of time you spend in a white man's land does not change your genes at all."

A miracle indeed!
